Immozy – Privacy Policy

Immozy takes your privacy very seriously and processes and uses your data confidentially. We keep it safe and hidden from third parties. Since we have no advertising, there is no reason for us to collect data to sell advertising.

All you need to use Immozy is a valid email address. Of course, we (and, mind you, no one else) would like to get to know you a little better to make your Immozy experience even more awesome. For example: Ralf, our boss, now lives near Hamburg, but was born somewhere else. So we’d like to show him properties from Hamburg at the top of his property list. There are many other ways to customize Immozy using your information.

For starters, to protect your privacy, Immozy always acts in accordance with the Data Protection Act. How Immozy uses personal information is reported to the Data Protection Authority.

1. What is Immozy?

Immozy is an online service provided by Immozy GmbH (from here on “Immozy”). Our office is located in beautiful Hamburg, Wichmannstraße 4, house 6, zip code 22607. Want to know us inside and out? No problem: Our number at the Hamburg Commercial Register is HRB 167532.

With the help of Immozy, users can search for, find and buy real estate, and get more detailed information.

2. What information does Immozy collect and process?

Account
To use Immozy, you need a personal account. Your name, a profile picture and information about your creditworthiness are optional.

Automatically generated data
In order for Immozy to function properly (for example, so you don’t have to log in every time), Immozy needs certain information. This information includes your IP address (the identification of your computer), your browser (the program you use to view websites), the operating system you use, the pages you visit on Immozy, and “cookies”.

3. What are cookies and how does Immozy use them?

Cookies are small pieces of information (usually text) that a server sends to an application or browser so that the application or browser can send that information back to the server on a next visit. When you use Immozy, cookies may be downloaded to your computer and we may have access to those cookies. Cookies from Immozy cannot harm your computer or the files on your computer.

Just to be clear: Immozy works great even if you don’t allow cookies, but you’ll have to log back in more often. Whether you choose to reject cookies is up to you. If you accept them, we can make Immozy a little more user-friendly.

Cookies from Immozy
When you use Immozy, Immozy’s own cookies are stored on your device. No third parties are involved in storing and reading these so-called first-party cookies. Only Immozy has access to these cookies. Immozy mainly uses technical cookies so that you are logged in automatically. In addition, Immozy uses so-called session cookies. The information stored in these cookies does not include names, addresses or other personal information, and the cookies are deleted as soon as you stop using Immozy. Immozy may use session cookies to customize the website to your needs. Immozy also uses persistent cookies, for example, to remember the preferences you have specified. Finally, Immozy uses tracking cookies to track which properties you look at and then suggest properties you might like.

Deleting Cookies 
You can set your browser to not receive cookies during your next visit to Immozy. But then you may have limited access to (parts of) Immozy or features of Immozy. To learn more about this, it is best to read the browser instructions or consult the help function of your browser.

4. What does Immozy use my data for?

So:

• To enable you to use Immozy;
• To show you properties based on your user behavior and interests;
• To compile anonymized statistics;
• To protect, customize and improve Immozy;
• To share your information with third parties and/or provide third parties with access to your information if you have consented to it, or pursuant to applicable law and/or regulation.

Immozy uses automatically generated data for statistical purposes and to make Immozy safer and better. This data can only be shared with third parties if it is completely anonymized and cannot be traced back to you (i.e., no personal information).

Use by third parties

Immozy will not share your personal information with third parties for direct marketing purposes (for example, to send you potentially annoying offers) without your explicit consent.

Immozy may share your data with third parties if you have given your consent for a particular third party provider itself (for example, if you contact a seller through Immozy), and/or if that data cannot be traced back to you personally (as with automatically generated data). Finally, Immozy may disclose your information to third parties if we are required to do so by applicable law and/or regulation, we are compelled to do so as a result of a legal proceeding, and/or if we believe it is necessary to protect our own rights.

5. How does Immozy protect your personal information?

Immozy takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your (personal) data against loss or any form of unlawful processing.

6. Viewing, changing, correcting or deleting your data

If you want to know what data Immozy has stored about you, or if you want to change your personal data, you can contact us at kontakt@immozy.de. Immozy will provide you with the requested information within four weeks (but usually we are faster).

Delete
Why!1??112 Alright. You can delete your account by sending an email to kontakt@immozy.de. When your account is deleted, Immozy removes all your personal data. All of them, including your saved properties in the wishlist and documents that you have shared with us or.

7. Transfer to countries outside the EU

We have our servers in Germany, although the USA would have been much cheaper. However, for technical and operational reasons, it may be necessary to transfer your (personal) data to sister companies of Immozy (or their servers) in the USA or in other countries outside Europe, where data protection laws may not provide the same level of security as in the European Union. You agree that your (personal) data may be transferred to the United States or other countries outside Europe if necessary.

8. Can this privacy statement be changed?
